dylan
i've never been a fan. this morning i tried to listen to blood on the tracks. i made it to song 4 about half way through before i could not take it anymore. i have to work now, actually. mega slacking has taken place lately.
If the Bob Dylan is pissing you off, you should check out Townes Van Zandt. He's everything that Dylan is supposed to be (great musician, excellent lyricist, etc.) but he can actually sing, and he drank himself to death, which is awesome.
i know - so much dylan from schmuhlp - he's a dylan pusher. haven't listened to the townes van zandt yet, but got that from him as well. three cheers for art brut and the buzzcocks!
