Peanut is becoming the love of my life. (Watch out Arthur.) He's stable, purry, and needy but also independent. He's fun to watch. I could do without the long whiny conversations about why he cannot go outside anymore for the night, but other than that I gaze upon him as if he were my only child. Which he is at this point. I need to revert to a nonverbal state, a sleepy bundly state of blinking and stretching. I will commune with the feral side in the hiding place. Soon.

I know this is pathetic, but I need the world to know about the love i have for my only son.
There is another post brewing but i am conflicted as to whether I should subject you all to it. It's not another crisis post though, but laterally related.
do not spare us FB. We can take it.
He looks like a kitten in that picture. So sweet.
High on mothballs
you think i am kidding?
he does have a bit of the baby face in that pic. love.
hi peanut
Hi peanut
OMG, adorable, fb. Hi from all the Team Shredder kitties: Sheldon L'Orange, Cherry, Buddy Otis, and Seamus.
Belatedly: sorry about the job. I hope this was just to clear the way for something better to come along
Oh FB, I get it. Believe me. I just found out that in my building, anything you say in your bathroom carries very clearly to the upstairs apartment. What this means is that I can never face my upstairs neighbors again, because of the way I talk to my cat, Noche. It's beyond embarrassing.
The mothball thing is a revelation. It's so sci-fi, children with moth-ball breath.
fb, I completely get it, too. in fact, my mom calls Scout her "grand-kitty," just to ratchet up the level of insanity a notch.
