hi. madrid was awesome. we are in barcelona now. Priorat (region) of espana makes some great vino. I have been communicating for the group, "reading" menus, ordering, etc. now that we are in barcelona i don't know what the hell language to speak but it seems ok. Just back from a great, fun meal downstairs of the apartment we are staying in. is it weird that every restaurant we go to they offer us free digestifs at the end? does that mean we are drunks? maybe it does. not sure. holy shit the gaudi church sacra de familia... The Prado was insanely awesome. i have 5 posts in the back of my mind but just wanted to say hello. goya is completely amazing. holy shit. i saw my titian. so much so much awesomeness. all good. there were some major screw ups early on in our arrival but i will report on this late. hooker avenue. i am not driven crazy yet by familia of arthur. it is the help of constant wine. hampaw, i have been thinking of your work because of the royal palace in madrid. excellent. major tiepolo fresco, didn't realize it was there. blew me away.
this is a rambilng post. can't focus. just hello....wish you were all here. that would be mucho divertido.
oh, and in case you forgot, the "garden of earthly delights" in person is every bit as super duper as you might imagine.
