ok, this dude in california has called me 4 times now! i can hardly understand him but that are all hot to trot on submitting my resume etc. it's crazy. sharks.
2 interviews tomorrow at weird-o places. ugh. good i guess. everyone is all desperate and crazy. isn't that weird? i am wishing they could all chill out a little bit.
it's a weird experience to have your phone ringing off the hook, isn't it? Nice to be on the good end of the bargaining stick.
Beware of the freaks who don't read the details of your resume. Don't let their desperation make you feel pressured into picking a beige too quickly either. . .if they want you they will allow you enough time to make a decision.
This sounds like most excellent advice from krixy...
Go FB!!!!!!!!!
FB, I am all wondery: is there the possibility of wrangling a time/money combo that will allow you to live in the style to which you want to become accustomed, i.e., maybs lots of money but > 5 days a week?
sloth, i do not know. most of these gigs are full time but contract - meaning there is an end date. my idea is to get in somewhere i like and then convince them to hire me part time after a while. win-win? or just take 3 months off between gigs or ?? maybe i won't mind working full time if it's not so boring? i used to work 4 days a week anyway at the most retarded beige ever and I still got the relics made. I do not know. I am just going to try it out and see.....
krix, you have good advice. I am going to remain careful and calm. i hope.
