Oh and that building? wtf?? thought it was a gut rehab but they seem to be completely tearing it down. no back wall, no roof no 1/2 of one side. I'm assuming it's all coming down?
Luvin' the light on the Lion shot. It is a comment on the plastic reality of a "lion" reduced to 2 dimensions; preserved, yet neutered by Pop Culture's highest honor: the color glossy photograph. Contained even further by the "bars" of sunlight; a virtual cage. His regal, yet concerned gaze off to the side, ignoring the stares of the viewer is further emphasizes his contempt for the "mass medium".

That and it was also a conscious choice to shoot with white balance on 'tungsten' for that forelorn, bluish look.
