they kicked ass at southpaw last night. go and see them next time around. garage punk with moments of hardcore tempo breakdown spasticity. the les sans culottes opened and played forever. I thought they might be ok but it was boring and cheesy. then byop came and cleared the air. thank god.

headliner was the dirtbombs. they were good too. the sound at southpaw was a little muddled though. His voice is so awesome and it was hard to hear most of the time.
Hello dear FB. I believe I saw the Dirtbombs with you many moons ago, back in the day with the Yeah Yeah whatevers before they made it big. Sounds like fun. Last night I had too much wine and spoke with an x-tra tall German fellow for many minutes in a row. I attempted to crack a joke saying someone looked like a cabbage patch kid but of course, the reference was unappreciated, reminding me of the tremendous chasm between American suburbs-raised hydro-mutants and everyone else in the world.
Anyway. You're tall.
