short. 7 songs only. i like - not really much new territory for the band. moody, dreamy songs that make me think of flying over southern california golf courses and strip malls - open expanses. dissaffected youth, loss, getting old, walking through the dew on lawns after dusk, being bored and trapped in your parent's home. it also makes me think of outer space a la bowie. there are some rocking out moments, a little more uptempo moments - Florida is good song and i like the Fuck the Valley Fudge. i don't know what Valley Fudge is - maybe somekind of convenience store? a town?
i think it is interesting that today all of my department is back to the web surf. we all are brazenly going about our normal routines with the abuse of company time. it took less than a week to return to normal.

i want the new My Morning Jacket - released today. It is supposed to be good good good.
Sounds like a real real good band. I believe in the power of music to really change the way things are today, to make them less like yesterday and make them more like tomorrow. You guys are neat.
