no, the animals are still alive pictured running the abandoned streets and hiding in buildings. they are forming packs and reverting to a feral state - eating other dead animals and such. some are cowering in their former homes! so sad.

i know pd, about the new hurricane. is it the apocalypse? i am starting to think W might actually be the antichrist.

so sad FB. I am upset at the thought of another huge hurricane. Hopefully the state and local officials are taking care of things as I doubt and over burdened FEMA will be able to pick up any slack.

it is terrible. I read in DailyKos last week that people are patroling the streets and killing dogs. I hope that isn't true.

we were joking here that there are 2 FEMA officials for every person in Crawford stationed and ready.

HP, i will have to look that story up on KOS. From the Times report it sounds like the dogs are getting really desperate - ready to attack even people for food. horrid. i wonder what happened to all the kittens.

i don't even want to imagine. I can't bear it.

I am not wishing a disaster on the innocent folks of Crawford...but maybe a hit on the Bushes....

The feral dog situation is terrible.

i had been wondering about the animals, i guess they are the last things to be dealt with? it's so sad. there used to be a dog parade in new orleans, i don't know if it was annual, but i have been wondering what happened to them all.

the new hurricane is frightening...time for more maltreatment and mishandling.

wow, that's quite a blog. I think FEMA and the president could benefit from reading blogs...so they know what is going on.
