arthur and i leave for spain tomorrow. crazy business. this painting by titian, "worship of venus," is at the prado. a painting i have always hoped i could see in real life. i've got a lot of art viewing to do and drinking. i am so absolutely thrilled to not have to code toad for over a week. the sun is peeking through the clouds.
i hope i can post about the trip while i'm there with some pics and such. not sure....

ReplyDeleteSpain! Wow, cool. Are you spending the week in Madrid? I've always wanted to go there. We went to Velencia once a couple of years ago. Vic ate some bad food on the flight (Iberia) which wasn't surprising because at one point a steward opened a door behind our seats and we saw a couple of horses in the hold which seemed weird, anyhow she turned green like a frog and slept through much of that trip.
